Elena Annovi

Contemporary dancer and acrobat, she has developed an experience and a passion for Vertical Dance and Suspension Dance, as well as for the search for air movement.
She continues her journey with performances and installations, experimenting the work with the body and the installation image, also becoming its composer and creator.
From these expereinces she has developped her love of being able to merge aerial work and the one on the horizontal level, to be able to create a unique language using possible “spaces” and places in which to go and experience the body and the movement itself. She takes her performances in unconventional places, as the result of an increasingly awareness of the power and importance of the place chosen for the performance.
After the Opening Ceremony of the Turin 2006 Olympic Games, in collaboration with the Kataklò company, the elements become something clear in her journey. She met the element of Water in 2007, joining the cast of the company Materiali Resistenti Dance Factory, with which she turned the world with the show Waterwall for almost 5 years.
