Bologna, I'm leaving

@ Piazza Rossini
June 9, 2024, 6:00 PM

with Nicola Borghesi | “La Merenda” on the Lawn

Leading men and women from the worlds of journalism, theatre, literature and poetry tell their stories and offer us their insight into Bologna. Stories of those who passed through the shadow of its porticoes, those who left, those who stayed. Stories of love, of silliness, of the past, of the future, of a city that remains in the heart.

Hosted by Edoardo d'Elia and Giacomo Venezia, authors of the La Merenda podcast

  • 6:00 pm — Surprise guest: a chat with the protagonists of the Bologna Portici Festival.

  • 7:00 p.m. — Bologna, I'm leaving
    With Nicola Borghesi
Author, director, actor, founder of Kepler-452, a company specialising in documentary theatre. He took theatre by bicycle to the deserted streets of the pandemic, collaborates with Lodo Guenzi and Paolo Nori, and likes to hold court. He has spent extensive time in eviction centres, occupied factories, Roma camps, prisons, Sikh communities to listen to stories and testimonies of life. He continues to wonder whether to leave Bologna or stay: here he will reveal his decision.
