Bologna Portici Festival is the great urban festival with which the City of Bologna celebrates its arcades, an architectural heritage unique in the world, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the “common good” par excellence.
A place of gaze, encounter and imagination, the arcades are, together with the towers, the most characteristic and fascinating element of the city.
Bologna Portici Festival transforms arcades into stages where creativity, art and storytelling draw a new cultural geography of the city.
Appointment from 4 to 9 June for 6 days full of events, with site-specific performances, music, guided tours, dance shows in a program that mixes experimentation, creativity and the rediscovery of tradition.
The festival will be preceded by “Heritage Meets the Future”, the international conference scheduled for 17 and 18 May dedicated to reflection on urban historical heritage and the exchange of best practices in a perspective of comparison between different European cities.
